what a long strange trip it's been.

It's rough

when you find out who your real friends are. I truly wanted to believe that you were one of my closest, if not my best, friend. Apparently I was wrong & for that I apologize... I just wish you cared.

Anyway. Hey, buzznet. I've been pretty MIA from this website, which definitely sucks because I've met some amazing people here. It also saddens me that the people I was close to on here don't post as much anymore but, at least I still have who matters.

About a week ago I took the trip home to Maryland, it's been have horrible half amazing.. the amazing is pretty amazing though so that's kind of outweighing the horrible. I've been working a lot. And by a lot, I mean 10 - 9 at the barn 4 days a week, the other days spent doing school and trying to finish up this monster of a research paper I have. Which is due May 1st. Which probably will not happen. I'm kind of past caring, as bad as that is.

I took a horse back riding lesson for the first time since January... ow. I don't have my riding muscles anymore. & I've always had problems with my right ankle, which starts becoming painfully sore about 10 minutes into my lesson every time. And let's see... it's been doing that for probably 2 years. I don't know what it is.

My 15th birthday is on Wednesday. I'm leaving on an airplane to Rhode Island on Thursday. Hoodwink is Friday. Bamboozle is Saturday & Sunday. Exciting.

I'm really ashamed to say that missing BNDP2 Tour makes me almost painfully sad. I've been missing a certain MD band a lot lately. I wish I didn't dislike myself for it... but they are literally my achilles heel in music. I don't even know why.

I'd write a longer update but.. that's basically all that's been going on. Work & school.

A couple things-

I totes wrote this journal last night when I still had my epic concert buzz, but something went wrong and it didn't post. So this journal probably won't be as epic.. but oh well. haha

If you have the opportunity to go to Taste Of Chaos, fucking do it. Don't even think about it.

-First time seeing Thursday. Um. Yes. Holy shit. They are every kind of awesome. It totally bummed me out that SO many people left after BMTH, but the crowd filled up again so all was good. I absolutely love the lighting they had for their set; lots of red, blue, gold, purple, and orange tones. Like none of my shots look very similar because of that, it's great. It pushed me to work on some skills. I stayed up front and shot their entire set because I just couldn't get enough.

-Third time seeing Four Year Strong. I fucking love those boys to death. I had the greatest time shooting and singing along during their set... and probably looking like an idiot during "Bada Bing! Wit A Pipe!" but seriously I don't care, that's my favorite song by them. They had some epic merch this time too, I'm bummed I didn't bring any money. I need something to go with my "F%@# Year Strong" shirt, hahahah.

-First time seeing Bring Me The Horizon, Pierce The Veil, and Cancer Bats. BMTH were an intense and difficult shoot, I had the think about what I was doing and plan every move I made the entire time. Oh and Oliver Sykes spit on me. Fun times.
PTV played a great set, even if they're not really my thing. I enjoyed their "Beat It" cover though. And the Cancer Bats are definitely worth checking out.

-Oh, and one more tiny detail. I met Mark! He is seriously awesome with a badass camera. (Canon ftw!)

Anyway, maybe this journal is more epic than last night's. But TOC has ruled this year and I'm definitely going to have to go to the KY date too.
